This might be a question that many of students preparing for MCAT exam ask themselves. In fact if they happen to be on the right track, feeling confident about their performance on the exams, they might ask it in a different way. They might ask "How should I benefit the society by carrying the title of M.D.?"
People always bring this point up to me that you should become a Medical Doctor abbreviated as M.D. Why? is it just because the initials of my name are M.D as well?!:) nope it should not be because of that.
A true friend in his last year of Medical School told me "... we are not good doctors! we are basically good test takers!"
So before asking yourself all the unnecessary thoughts, question your ability to take incredibly hard exams!
